Parts of your car insurance policy can be amended online such as changing your vehicle details, address and contact number. Simply visit the Direct Line homepage and click on ‘Manage your policy’. Once you’ve logged in, identify the relevant car policy you hold with us and then select the 'amend' link. Enter the start date for the changes and choose from the amendment list. Then click the 'Continue' button.

If you wish to amend another part of your policy that cannot be completed online or if you would prefer to speak to someone, call us direct on 0845 246 8706. Please be aware that any policy changes could affect your premium.
