Do I need to take my insurance certificate with me when driving abroad?

If you are driving abroad, your motor insurance certificate will act as proof of the minimum level of cover required. You will need to have this with you when you are travelling.

It is also recommended that you request a Green Card which is additional proof of the minimum cover required for the country in which you are driving. Please contact us for details of which countries this covers.
