Yes, our Direct Line Home contents Insurance policy automatically provides cover for home computers on a new for old basis for fire, smoke damage, lightning ,theft and flood.
For complete peace of mind why not add our optional accidental damage cover and if you a have a portable /laptop computer that you take out and about don't forget to include our personal possessions cover as well. With our Direct Line Home Insurance Plus policy both accidental damage and personal possessions cover are included as standard. If the replacement value exceeds £2,000 (Direct Line Home Insurance) or £3,000 (Direct Line Home Insurance Plus) you will need to specify the item.
